Paloma is the Spanish word for dove, a symbol of peace. The moon is often seen as a symbol of powerful feminine energy and wisdom. I think that these two symbols together make a beautiful statement. The moon face beads are turquoise blue matte Czech glass with a wash of golden iridescence to highlight the facial features. The moon wears a flower crown set in a rhinestone ring and topped by an aquamarine gemstone bead. The square paloma links are cast in fine pewter and then finished in antiqued silver plating. I hand-painted the dove connectors in turquoise and gold cold enamel. Delicate antiqued matte silver filigrees are wrapped around the Paloma squares to add a lace texture for added interest. Tiny golden beads and small aqua opal glass tear drops finish these earrings and add interesting texture. The earrings as pictured are finished with antiqued silver-plated lever back ear wires but you may customize your earrings by choosing your favorite style of silver plated or niobium ear wires from the options shown in the last photo. Options are left to right: antiqued silver lever backs, gray niobium hooks, dark matte silver hooks, bright silver hooks and bright silver 1.5 inch long kidney wires. Niobium is a nonreactive hypoallergenic metal that may be a good choice for you if you are sensitive to other metals. Your earrings will be shipped gift-wrapped in a recyclable natural color box with tissue paper and recycled sari silk ribbon. Orders received by noon PST will be shipped that same day (weekends and holidays excluded). I ship Monday through Friday except for USPS holidays.
Earring dangle length is 2.75 inches long by .5 inches in width.
